Classification Of Degreaser

- May 03, 2018-

Prior to chemical treatment, electroplating and application of metal, degreasers are used to remove grease and mineral oil from metal surfaces. The main degreasers are composed of the following:

(1) Alkaline degreasing agent

(2) Emulsion degreasing agent

(3) Solvent degreaser

Surfactant-based degreaser formulas do not damage the texture of metal products when cleaning metal surfaces, and a small amount of degreaser can emulsify and disperse a large amount of grease, so that oil stains are easily detached from the metal surface. It is an ideal type. Metal cleaning agent. The commonly used surfactants include LAS, AOS and other anionic surfactants such as AEO and nonionic surfactants. The former has strong detergency, but hard water resistance is poor, and the chelating agent is added when used; the latter is not sensitive to hard water, but the washing temperature should be appropriate to prevent the occurrence of cloud point.

Degreasing agent formulations containing surfactants rely mainly on their emulsification to remove oil stains from metal surfaces, and surfactants with lower HLB values are preferred. However, these materials have weak water-solubility, are not easy to rinse, and often have an adsorption film on the surface of the laundry. Therefore, ethanol can be dissolved and removed in the formulation. Examples of the application of metal degreasing detergent formulations are as follows: AEO-72 kerosene 13l ethanol 6 bis coco dimethyl ammonium chloride l20, phosphoric acid aqueous solution 60 alkali-based degreasing cleaning agent in the case of a small amount of grease, with Alkali-based surfactants can reduce the cost of cleaning agents.
